night ahead

first day of summer
up early stacking peppers
for the people
out of work early
home for the rest of the day
to relax and put down
some thoughts
down at last
saw the strawberry moon
not as impressive
as once lead to believe
can't say that it surprises me
either don't trust anything
inspect in some way myself
or research or whatever
cooler breeze clearing
the pollen away
for the moment
rest before a fire tonight
another restful night ahead...
