they won't keep you
informed or even educated
closer to confused
and misinformed discovering
more on our own than
they would like us to know
and stand still we know
stationary ground roots below
life above unknown above life
admittedly fearless of the unknown
then they try to make us fear
our own potential
but we cannot fear the unknown
and from this learn they
cannot be trusted...
