first fire of 2009
yesterday afternoon i decided i would try to build a fire on top of the snow pile in my back yard fire place it lasted for about seven hours.

January went by fast...Kavi on the couch
I guess that thought speaks for itself. I have worked 9 days in a row until today. I am not at all complaining and I really need to work everyday. I had my first review at Trader Joe's and got a sixty cent raise after only two months. My performance and adjustment from the other supermarket they said has been great. I am going to go stand outside and look at the moon out there if it has not already set for the night.
I took this picture last night before I went to sleep. Kavi, my cat, is sleeping on the couch under the light.

5 o'clock and it's dark
this morning i forgot to put socks on
then ended up walking a half mile
then got a ride to Plymouth

first week at new job
Trader Joe's has been pretty nice so far. It's only been a week, but I think knowing how I take to things that if I was going to absolutely hate it, it would have happened by now. I have been wrong before so I could be wrong again.

today is my late grandfather (Richard Vacca)'s birthday. I found some work today and my brother leaves for India tomorrow...
