same room

same room sitting on the floor
almost like twenty years ago
except now I know
and much has changed
trying to come at it
a little different
not seeing it as the same
same room
the occupants above
my two favorite people
remain the same too
peaceful tonight
relief at last
no more treatments
one last check to see
if the sickness have left
and only thing left to do
is keep it away
sitting in the same room
tired all over again...
