I don’t have very long

before I knew what to say
I heard the song

you sing loud

I cover my ears

and close my eyes

as everyone disappears

into the darkness

of the mind

playing those tricks

nothing left to find

out after reaching the top

might be at the bottom

but I just won’t stop

I might pause brief

quite a relief

remember I don’t have long
