no surprise

absolutely nothing can surprise
me now really looking at life
in so many ways
trying to make sense of it all
considering everything
we are conditioned to accept as fact
and so many more things
we are taught to ignore
taught to doubt our own eyes
questioning everything begets ridicule
even that ridicule is born
in generations of conditioning...
