Eddie got
swallowed up
yesterday what
a sad situation
while watching
the tv
men in tights beating each other
guess everyone
has got
to pay the
bills somehow
the couch looks
different
without Eddie
maybe it ate
him
that’s one
theory
never did get
to say good-bye
hope it was
painless
uncle frank
said some awful
things but once
couch
digestion
complete Eddie
will prove him
wrong
never told me where
he buried the
treasure
never
understood why
he was content
on that couch
eventually it
was bound to happen
horrible sound
they say
blink of an eye
no more Eddie
still hear his
voice at times
but no one will
ever
see Eddie again
he was
swallowed by
the couch…
