don’t want to see her there
even though extra care given
those who know
she just turned ninety-two
and lives alone
hoping they let her go home
g.dad seen in a similar room
here one day gone the next
only memories remain
not ready to let go
of the last of that generation
the elders those who have seen so much
and no one truly feels better
until they get home...
