sun shining still
only hours now since
can’t think about it too long
was she that frustrated with
the length of time taken
yellow light flashing
and now dreaming in
shades of green
lying still on the couch
trying to sleep and failing
smell of wine and the night
stuck to the pillow
head on the floor now
thinking on my way out west…
