new addition to the collection
of porches that hold me when
and where I write
not that sun or earth importance
but a great new spot just the same
not as dark perfect low light
created low level
one floor higher than
the rest of the yard
fire can still be seen
and watched from
this new perch
ran out of coffee again
most would think it too late
now and then I agree
tonight properly
taking in the new addition
to surroundings
with pen in hand as
night dwindles...
