gotta try and hear
my thoughts through
the rain as it beats
the roof above where I sit
today one day at a time
to strengthen any recovery
just glad to be back
why is it survival is based
on some sort of money
too bad as reality sets in
as the sun still sets
behind a ceiling of clouds
and buckets of rain...
