up late for a change
listening as usual
trying to actually hear
what the universe is saying
sometimes we all need to tap
that reality a bit
merely opinion no one
is for another war
up late because I can
and choose to think about the things
that billions of war dollars could buy
if they were used for useful things
and not destruction
up late because tonight I can
barely keeping the eyes open
but desire to say no to war once again
don’t know how the rulers are not
run out of town and country
how free can we be if anyone of can be droned
if we get too loud wish that nine percent
would wake up later than usual…
