another day in the world
doing what others say
because it’s what we are all
accustomed to and conditioned
to accept
another day of sunshine
east to west
many won’t admit to being stuck
in a system they have no control over
how can we silently forget the future
and the consequences of forgoing
true liberty any longer
not convinced that fear is necessary
another day in the world
and trying to understand
and survive in it daily…
