reaching down deep
thoughts splatter ink
on pages
too many words
don’t want to think
where does your mind lead you
want to be distracted
cannot figure it out
maybe tomorrow
loving how words cut the surface
of pages making them bleed
should I sit with these thoughts
or simply sleep and do nothing
because nothing will happen
when nothing is done
and it must be because
it’s the easy way…
