always liked it when the sound surrounds
and moves from side to side
with nowhere to hide not a cloud in the sky
after a day with all sun it went away
about seven fifteen and it’s expected
to be shorter every day from June to December
still it isn’t something easily prepared for
everything is dying as the days shorten
one week since the family dog passed
even the cat has noticed that something is missing…
