worry hits the back of the neck
like cold water to the unexpected
eye can’t explain why
or what the reason if for no reason
or one eye don’t need to know
keep the guard up like a ladder
against the side of the house
painted olive green and don’t have much
of that in the pockets like a rich man
would eye care if eye didn’t worry…
