thoughts driving
cigar lit in hand
punched out
thirty minutes
no privacy
police behind
until back to work
the day didn’t bring
the pen to work
to record the thoughts
at the moment
no privacy
carriage guy wonders around
the lot trying to think
of something to say
noticing a random window open
cigar smoke out the sunroof
shouldn’t even waste
the fuel driving too much
as it is…
