burning the hollows of the mind

a year now tearing at these pages
probably not enough
trying to notice more
keeping the head up
looking around for a change
not merely a staying positive
at a glance doing it
in the style of Bukowski
rapid fire thought
burning the hollows of the mind
capturing every picture taken
stored piled on top of thoughts
becoming the inspiration
for future direction
or just simply to be memories
life can get exhausting
notice it more when forcing
the rest to happen more often
not what anyone might expect
found the time clear the mind
and recognize the first thought
in that moment of freedom
understand daily the importance
of independent thought…
