the bombs drop on them daily
not afraid of the weapons
wouldn’t even know how to use them
or want to either
how destructive must our culture be
to believe that somehow
the violence is necessary
the concerns should be on
a more sustainable culture
one that doesn’t thrive on death and destruction
one that might thrive on the life
all around us and still not afraid of
false evidence appearing real…
