wind in trees ominous everything moves
out of the way trying to find the way
back from somewhere
better off in a small town
more hope than ever
howling through the trees
left to right then back and forth
every one of them strong
winter took care of the weak
one of them until strength in a smile
the confidence in the chance on two
the right path and kept on walking
to today and tomorrow
always looking forward for the positive
strength in that cool breeze
been down deep digging at the soul
and searching until happiness
fills the air with the wind behind...
