outside in the moon light
nearly too dark
to see out here
moving the pen
can't see the lines
smoke from the fire blinds
for a moment
could eye ever see
outside so bright
standing and leaning
against the railing
wish I could figure it out
also until then keep on
outside with new thoughts
finding the muse
so late but just in time
to write on the railing
hunched over in the moon light...
