when your leg goes numb
from not moving enough
and none of those you met
have the right stuff
that you need the now
and no introduction needed
until now flood waters
have not receded
standing knee deep in the dark
got something to say
the feeling I cannot describe
and it won’t go away
anytime soon if I can
help it keep getting stronger
