we think we know

under an umbrella
at another glass table
with a distortion
so it looks like liquid
on the surface
as the rain starts to creep
in stronger after the humidity
of the day reached
a high point
under the strain of a new
hill to climb as a group
only one will feel the fatigue
but all of us give the support
any and all struggle
that may ensue
most believe in something
else but I sit under
the umbrella and question
everything we think we know...
