having a fire and watching the moon

I know it seems weird that I would be so into photographing the moon given the fact that I do not believe that the Apollo missions were truly walking, driving and hitting golf balls on the moon, I really like taking pictures of the moon with my P950 Nikon.

I started a fire last night, burning an old wooden foot locker.

they all know better than I 

and I am left not understanding 

what just happened.  

it's ok.  

I don't have the time to try to figure out 

what is pretty simple to see.  

you call it what you want 

so you can sleep at night, 

but I will just call you selfish.  

I will still wake up before the dawn 

and watch the sun come into view.  

not because I manifested it, 

but it's because it is what fucking happens!  

and I set an alarm, 

but apparently I do not need it 

waking before it everyday.

this is bee balm before flowering when they will be visited daily by the family of hummingbirds that live around here.

well as you can see below my newest seedlings are having a tough time getting going.  Instead of completely abandoning them or pulling them, I added their two sisters who were also started at the same time and we going to be my next indoor crop.  Things change when and we adapt to these changes.

Below are the 4 strong girls that are just loving the big pots and sunshine.

today I went to the Angels Garden and got some tomato cages for my plants.  I was able to cut them and bend them into semi circles and I may buy 4 more and to the backside it it seem like it will work.  As they get bigger I may actually get some chicken wire to go all the way around each one of them.  Then I also think I am going to have to spread them out a bit.

destroy momentary sadness

Today I went to visit my family stone.  Where my Mom, Nana & Grampy Bob are all buried.  

I miss my mom and visit her stone a lot.  

Tonight I was sitting by my fire and I thought of my mom.  I thought at least I still get to live and wander around the house that she shared with us.  

I got sad like one of those waves that hits you where you feel an emotion really strong for a brief moment.  I shut the light off in the kitchen.  

I happened to look at the digital clock radio that she used to listen to everyday and it read 9:28 pm.

My mom died on 9-28-2019.

I guess seeing that destroyed my momentary sadness because it was instantly gone and I felt a smile and took a deep breath and went back out to my fire
