 just a quick update on the garden

its all just random

just letting the air out of the thoughts

every time I get too busy to write

I start to feel like the thoughts 

in my mind are eating my mind

there are days when my mind 

will not shut off

my dad told me he heard me yelling

in my sleep at 4 am

before he told me this

I woke this morning

after the most horrible dreams

and I usually don't dream

once I was awake I went to sit in the garden

to get myself awake and visit with the newly planted

decision to continue the thought

project that I have been working at for 

all of my adult life

started on vacation as a child

writing journals in little blue school books

and it will not end

the pen will still be used

but sometimes the reinvention of the wheel

when it comes to getting thoughts out of the head 

quite necessary...

the garden day 3

It's Sunday and the sun wants to shine but the clouds have other plans as usual.  My pictures today were taken after I topped all 4 plants to get them to grow 2 main colas.  I will also do some trimming once they really adjust to their new home.  Growing inside at first gets them the light and warmth they need to grow a good root system.  When I bring them outside that's when they really blow up.

Sunday tends to be my only day off lately although I did spend an hour today getting bills ready to go in the mail tomorrow and making a small bank deposit of checks that came in yesterday.

Yesterday was the grand opening for Rodrigo's new business venture, The Angels Garden.  It is in the spot that once was Leo's Landscape & West Meadow Nursery in West Bridgewater.  It is literally 4 mins away by car and only about 15-20 minutes if you had to walk from my home.

It was really cool to have all his Landscaper friends come see what he has built.  Our neighbors showed up and a lot of random people from the area who have heard indirectly or on social media or whatever.  I hope it succeeds beyond his wildest dreams because his success means success for his girls and my sister and everyone who works for him too.  I am going to put a few pictures from the day below.

the garden day 2

Today is day 2 for my garden outside.  

I am also trying to get back to writing and since I spend so much time on my laptop I am trying my hand at skipping the pen.  

I always said I would never abandon the pen, but I feel like if I have thoughts in the head they need to get out and I used to grab a pen and go, but here I can just type which I guess works too.

These first 2 plants are Gelato Punch, I grew one of them last year and had good luck with it so I decided to do a couple this year.

 These 2 plants are Lemon OG Kush, These ones are the last 2 seed of this strain and the one I grew last year got huge in a 20 gallon cloth pot.  This year I have them in 30 gallon pots so I believe they will get very big, Jah willing.

Today was the day for me to get my 4 plants that are ready to be outside, outside.  I started the seed on the first day of spring.  

They have had 4-5 weeks indoors before they were ready and then I think I waited an extra 5 days until the cold mornings finally went away.

this is my spot

 so this is my spot my friends at Trader Joe's got me the chair nearly 3 years ago now and the only thing I did to it was paint it.  It has been my spot for hundreds of fires. I have Rodrigo to thank for the upgrade on the spot adding the cobble stones and riverbed stones.

My job can be stressful, but working from home gives me this view every sunny morning.
